The Region

Beaches

Our Park is located approximately 500m from the beautiful Silver Sands beach. Perfect for families, relaxing the day away, seaside walks, swimming and beach fishing.

Surfing

Mandurah is a local dream destination just 50 minutes south of Perth. Some of Australia’s most spectacular waterways including the Peel-Harvey estuary, which is twice the size of Sydney Harbour, is located in Mandurah.

Cruises

Lots and lots of cruise options are available right here in Mandurah including dolphin cruises and Christmas light cruises, scenic canal cruises, adventure cruises, seafood cruises, catch and eat cruises and river cruises. Information and tickets are available through our park reception.

Water Sports

If you love adventure then Mandurah is for you. Lots of water sport options are available including Jet Xtreme, Jet Skiting, White water rafting, kayaking, canoeing or maybe hiring a boat to catch crabs or fish. If this sounds like you then check out the links below for more information.

Fishing & Crabbing

Mandurah is famous for blue swimmer crabs which can be caught easily usually during summer from late January to April. We have crab cookers to cook up your catch, located at reception. The crab cooking elements are located in the fish bay.

Eating Out

Mandurah is chocablock full of great dining options, from bakery options to fine dining, from gelato to churros, from lollies to chocolates and everything in between. You will find lots of eateries along Mandurah terrace, at the foreshore, at Dolphin Quay and Mandurah Forum.

Within walking distance, try the Chows Chinese, the Silver Sands hotel, the Mandurah Bakery and hot bread shop and Mandurah Kebab House and Turkish Bakery.

Kids Activities

Along the Mandurah Foreshore/estuary there are lots of fun things the kids can do. There are numerous playgrounds, the Aqua Fun water Park, King’s Carnival and mini golf. King’s Carnival is open 10am-5pm Weekends, Public and School Holidays. Mini Golf is open every day from 9am-5pm.

Explore Nature

The Peel region offers some breathtaking scenery along its many waterways and wetlands, with an abundance of marine life on display. The region also offers bush walking and mountain biking trails such as Langford Park in Jarrahdale, and some beautiful scenic drives, including the thrombolites at Lake Clifton or the Forest Heritage centre in Dwellingup.
